Introducing O2Founder’s Newsletter for Founders and emerging fund managers with an alternative view on founder’s risks and venture capital.
Hi friends and welcome👋,
O2Founders as Oxygen for growth came out of thinking systematically about startups and startup risks for founders, as I have been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember, and I never know which one is going to hit. If you think about a startup as a 5-year commitment: You have an idea, you build some product, get some customers, and then it becomes a business with very high odds of failure. But your opportunity cost, your commitment, the effort, and the money that you put into it are huge. At the end of which more than 95% of the time you are going to end up with nothing.
So how do you systematically de-risk that process?
What's going on with startups right now, and how the landscape looks for us, founders?
What if founders could diversify in the same way investors can?
As we all agree that we need more entrepreneurs, we need more builders, we need more innovation in the ecosystem.
